Web3 Harbour and InvestHK today announced Blocktober #24, a first of its kind strategic public-private collaboration that will bring three weeks of world-class events and experiences dedicated to Web3 innovation and exploration to Hong Kong from October 14 to November 1, 2024.

The Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group launched the Prototype Hong Kong Green Fintech Map with Cyberport and Invest Hong Kong to help corporates and financial firms identify Green Fintech solutions that meet their business needs. The Map is a directory of over 50 Green Fintech firms operating in Hong Kong.

The Government launched a public consultation on legislative proposals to introduce a licensing regime for providers of OTC trading services of virtual assets. The consultation will last for two months until April 12, 2024.

InvestHK announced that it has assisted a licensed fintech company, EVIDENT Platform Services Limited, to set up its global headquarters in HK, offering the world's first tokenised private limited partnership fund investing in the aviation sector, in partnership with Anisos Capital Group.
