To encourage the FinTech innovation and development vitality, to exert the advantages of multiple systems, market-orientation and openness, and accelerate cross-boundary financial connectivity of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), the first Greater Bay Area FinTech Flying Fish Enterprise election will be launched in 2021.

Elected companies will enjoy 6 major rights and interests as coordinated by the organizers:

1. Policy support: Recommend the selected companies to be the key service providers of relevant departments of the local government in the GBA.  Recommend the eligible companies to apply for FinTech-related support policies.
2. Capital market: Introduce the participating companies to relevant banks, and the guarantee loan program for financing. Participating companies can also get priority investment opportunities from FinTech related government funds and private investment.
3. Business matching: Assist the selected companies to connect with financial institutions in the GBA for industry exchanges, business development, and project implementation. At the same time, the participating companies will be connected to the "Global Fast Track Program" of Hong Kong FinTech Week 2021 and will have the opportunity to match with Hong Kong financial industry giants and investors.
4. Working space and incubation: Provide working spaces for selected companies, recommend companies to settle in the FinTech related technology parks in the GBA, and provide access to the technology parks' support policies
5. Publicity and promotion: Invite the companies on the list to participate in official FinTech events such as “Hong Kong FinTech Week” and “Shenzhen FinTech Global Summit” and be published on reports to increase their industry influence.
6. Talent: Access to the talent pool within the GBA, this election will be an essential part of the “2021 Shenzhen Greater Bay Area FinTech Talent Season”.

The judging committee comprises more than 10 external experts with professional experience. Their expertise covers information technology, data analysis, capital markets, venture capital, risk control, finance, macroeconomics, and financial services.

Judges will rate the participating companies based on the five core dimensions to evaluate.

• Product’s Maturity
• Target Markets
• Financing, Human Capital, Customer Acceptance

Technology-based enterprises or platforms which provide technical services to financial regulatory authorities and financial institutions in the GBA.

Companies applied artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, blockchain, distributed technology, interconnection technology, security technology and other financial technology underlying technologies.

Companies registered in any GBA city for more than 2 years (less than 10 years) and have on-site operations, a stable financial system, and an independent audit system are eligible to register.

• Hong Kong companies: more than 5 million yuan revenue in 2020, or the cumulative research investment in 2018-2020 was more than 5 million yuan
• Mainland companies: more than 10 million yuan revenue in 2020, or the annual compound growth rate of income from 2018 to 2020 was not less than 20%, or the cumulative research investment from 2018 to 2020 was more than 10 million yuan
• Not a listed company
• No bad integrity records, no violations of laws or regulations, and no financial risk incidents in the past 2 years

• July 30-September 30, 2021: Application material review
• October-November 2021: Judges discusses and evaluates
• December 2021: Announcement of selection results

04: Enterprise detailed address (used for interview arrangement), contact person for evaluation, department, position, contact information (mobile phone, email)

05: Through the SIP website, fill in the relevant company information and saves the results

06: Submit your application here and provide the above application materials to the registration email: china.fintech@kpmg.com; the subject of the email must be "Greater Bay Area FinTech Flying Fish Enterprise 20 List-XXX Company (Company Name)"

• All of the above materials must be submitted. If there are any supplementary materials, please provide them together, with maximum 3 pages of A4 size electronic manuscript or ppt in total
