The panel then talked about how the pandemic softened the labour market and how it made it easier to reach out to more talent. They also talked about the pressure on regulators to support innovation. Moreover, they emphasised on the importance of digitalisation, strategic agility, pivoting and operational resilience and agreed that Hong Kong is one of the best economies in Asia region for FinTechs companies who are looking to fast-track their growth.
Furthermore, they discussed how the growth of FinTech businesses can be fast-tracked in the present environment and how to take advantage of the opportunities that are going to emerge in the next 1-2 years and advised the audience to prioritise customer's digital needs.
